Its been confirmed that the banished are now making their own spartans, with their own kinds of augmentation other than those that unsc spartans recieve.

Okay this was fun for a bit but it got way too into the technobabble. I'm not really all that concerned with how the protons are supposed to behave in these fictional technologies. It's fun to talk about how the ships compared to one another in universe and what roles they had, impacts on the story, etc etc. But I don't care about the nitty gritty of how the protons work in these drives any more than how phasers work in Star Trek or how Lightsabers work in Star Wars, or how the totally not lightsabers work in Mobile Suit Gundam. What I'm getting at is that it's not a slight against Mass Effect. I just don't need that level of detail. Cause at the end of the day, these are all just stories.

We ALWAYS farmed kills when we played a group of randoms. We were assholes.😂😂 When we played other teams, or same skill level teams, we played to win as fast as possible. If team killing expedited the win, we did it. Nothing was off the table.

All I’m hearing is another reason that Spartan 4’s are just marines ++ and nothing more, halo 5 blue team should have steamrolled any other Spartan (takes a squad of 3’s to kill 1 2, a squad of 4’s to kill 1 3 if I remember right?)

As someone who's new to Halo, and especially its lore, I was hoping to find a comprehensible guide on the lore of Halo (Reach-Infinite) however there don't seem to be many videos on that, mainly focusing on Infinite. If you have a video like what I'm looking for or know some other channel, please send me that way :D. Also, I love your content and the project mjolnir series has been fantastic

Here's my theory: ONI being the paranoid doomsday preppers they are want to raise a shadow fleet of unsc ships for sketchy ONI reasons. What better way to do this than to make Big Navy think that they lost a ship with all hands when in fact, the ship and crew survived. Now with the vessel officially declared lost with all hands, It and the crew would be stricken from the roster and ONI would have a warship and crew that they can use at their discretion. I realize this is a long shot. But if anyone could pull it off, I think it'd be ONI. I have no evidence for this. It just popped in my head.

All humans have the potential to become reclaimers but not all humans are reclaimers by default is what I'm assuming. This takes into account that the librarian's essence is dormant in some and not in others

Or at least there is nothing that would out right deny it, in that case it might be case similar to that of the Red October, only he and his trusted officers have deserted. About where would they hide the ship? With insurrections isn't it a bit suspicious that insurrections fllet lead by his wife showed up just in right time to mop up rest of covenant fllet?

Every time I've experienced this, the enemy teams is some 4-stack of sweats who wipe the floor with us in a couple minutes, then just have 1 guy juggle the flag in the back to run down the clock and let their team keep destroying mine. I've had people leave, I've had people go afk and just feed, and I've even had people still try to cap. It's ridiculous, unsportsmanlike, and is one of the reasons why ctf will always be the worst game mode.

Cole had a great kill ration haha honestly Cole is easily one of my favorite characters. In the end we probably will never get a firm answer but a man as smart as he was I don't see it being far fetched. Also the galaxy is a big place. Also Cortana pulled the same thing off in a covenant ship. So let the man have his happy ending lol.

Great video! One minor correction I noticed. The blue shift limitation of the stealth system only applies to the SR1. The SR2's heat sinks are improved to be able to catch those emissions, thus allowing the SR2 to maintain stealth while entering/exiting FTL. This is not explained in the codex at all. The only mention of this in the games is when you ask Adams how the SR2 compares to the original Normandy at the beginning of ME3. I'm currently in the middle of a multi playthrough marathon of the trilogy, so these videos are great supplemental material!

You know hearing about what Cole did to that gas giant makes me wonder if it was used as inspiration for the NOVA bombs.

I mean I might agree with this but the belicose had performed the exact same slip space jump in a gas giants atmosphere and it was even older than the tech Cole had when he did it.

Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle, all humans can interact with forerunner technology, but only those with an added element within the gene song can interact with certain "secure" systems

I think its feasible that there is a difference between pre-planning an in-atmosphere jump and calculating one under unstable conditions on the fly like Cortana did in First Strike. It's important to note that it wasn't the actual slipspace drive that allowed Cortana to do what she did, it was the Covenant sensors that allowed her to plot a path accurately. In fact, the book states that it is possible to mathematically anticipate the distortions caused by the gas giant, the other planets, and even the ship itself. The math is fictional, so who's to say Cole couldn't have gotten that information he needed in advance of the battle?

I also am not a big believer that he survived primarily because of his crew. However i did come up with an idea watching this video how he could have gotten past them. If he pumped up the nitrogen levels and lowered the oxygen in the areas of the ship with crew whose loyalty to him was in question it would put them to sleep, they then could have put those either in cryo or under some kind of arrest. This doesnt get past breathers but the number of people with quick access to those may have been manageable. Its either that or he would have had to evac all the air in those sections and straight up kill his crew. Which given how he managed losses on the battlefield i dont think we can put past him.

I have to disagree with this. The discrepancy between earlier books and games can be overlooked due to different authors of the books not collaborating, and in games lines may have changed slightly. There are obvious differences between Bungie and 343. According to the books some humans have gene-songs which would make sense for them having greater interaction with relics and other technology. But the whole "only some humans are reclaimers" only serves the horrible Paramount TV show. For those who like the show, good for you. But for older fans it goes contrary to so much established lore. Installation00 has been a strong proponent for the show so this is no surprise to me

for a Halo movie, I think the perfect director is some like Neil Blomkamp or gareth edwards. I wouldn't trust modern days Ridley Scott though, as good of a director he used to be.

James Cameron or Denis Villeneuve would be my dream picks for a serious Halo movie
